	Creating memories...one vacation at a time!


		Part of the safari tour is going to a lookout called Belvedere which is high up on the volcano, looking out over Opunohu Bay and Cook’s Bay. We also explored the valley and stood in front of Bali Hai.


	First stop was Opunohu Bay and then up a narrow, winding road to the lookout point called Belvedere. In the photo on the right, Opunohu Bay is on the left and Cook’s Bay is on the right. Check out the movie is a scene with Mel Gibson standing right where our group stood. Be still my heart!



			Jagged peaks surround a beautiful valley which is the bowl of the dormant volcano.
