Creating memories.....one vacation at a time!

The Barossa is one hour north of Adelaide and is Australia’s best-known wine region. Established in 1842, there are over 70 cellar doors (wineries) and 600 grape-growing families.   The valley produces Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Riesling, Semillon, Viognier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Among the cellar doors in the area are Penfolds, Jacobs Creek, Wolf Bass, Seppelt, Saltram, and Peter Lehmann.

The Barossa.  To explore the valley, pick up a copy of the Barossa Heritage Trail.

Tanunda is one of the small towns in the Barossa.  Heritage buildings, little shops - each of the towns are worth exploring!

Jacob’s Creek is a great place for a tasting plus they have exhibits telling the story of their winery.

There are wonderful places to eat in the Barossa from pubs to fine restaurants.

Mary Anne Kennedy’s company, “A Taste of South Australia” gives wonderful guided tours into the Barossa.
