ABORIGINAL HERITAGE & STUNNING MOUNTAIN SCENERY

The Grampians, about 3 hours northwest of Melbourne, are a series of five spectacular sandstone ridges created around 400 million years ago.  Known by the local Aboriginal people as “Gariwerd”, the thickly wooded mountain ranges which make up Grampians National Park provide fabulous scenery, great for bush walking and camping, while the stunning rock formations provide opportunities for climbing or just gazing.
