Eleven miles across the Sea of the Moon from Tahiti lies Moorea with its volcanic peaks and sparkling lagoons. Moorea is 38 miles around and there is only one road that goes around the island. There are two bays, - Cook’s Bay and Opunohu Bay and the majestic peaks of Mouaroa, Rotui and Tohivea. You can swim, snorkel, scuba dive, or just relax on the beautiful beaches while you walk the lagoons and watch the never-ending flow of fish and other sea creatures that meander around the coral reefs.
