When planning your Fijian vacation, you have many different types of properties and islands to choose from.  You can stay on Viti Levu, the main island or you can stay on one of the outer islands or you can do both.   The main outer islands that people go to are the Mamanucas, the Yasawas on the western side of Viti Levu, Beqa, Vatulele and Kadavu which are south of Viti Levu or to the north - the island of Vanua Levu, and Taveuni. 

Half the fun of getting to one of the outer islands is how you do it!   You can either stay there or take a day trip and cruise there.  Below are photos of ways to get to your own private island.  You can take days trips or go for a longer time.
