Alice White Chardonnay & Shiraz

Alice White wines come from the vineyards in South East Australia and were first introduced into the U.S. in 1996.

Angus the Bull Cabernet

Hamish MacGown, the winemaker of Angus the Bull, says "The philosophy behind Angus The Bull is to
create a unique and innovative  wine that provides an ideal accompaniment to prime beef.  Wines are selected from wine regions across Victoria and South Australia."

Archetype Shiraz RSV

From the Barossa Valley, Australia's premier appellation, Archetype arrived on the scene in 2008.   It is produced by Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines.   

Black Opal Shiraz & Cabernet/Merlot

Black Opal was established in 1986.  Their grapes are sourced from the vineyards found in South Australia along the Limestone Coast at Langhorne Creek and in the Barossa Valley.

Black Swan Merlot & Shiraz

Black Swan wines are created by premium grapes from South Eastern Australia wine-growing region.

Blue Marlin Shiraz

Blue Marlin produces a Shiraz from Southeastern Australia.

Ch Reynella Shiraz

Chateau Reynella was established in 1838.   John Reynell planted some vines in the colony and 10 years later became the first to export South Australia wines.  In 1982 Thomas Hardy and Sons acquired the Reynella property and restored the winery.   Today they continue to use the old basket presses and wax-lined, open concrete fermenting tanks.

Cimicky Trumps Shiraz

Charles Cimicky "Trumps" is a Barossa Valley wine.  Their Shiraz won 4 trophies in the 2007 Barossa Valley Wine Show.

d'Arenberg Shiraz Footbolt & D'Arry's Original

D'Arenberg is one of more significant wineries in McLaren Vale outside of Adelaide in South Australia.   In 1912, Joseph Osborn bought Milton Vineyards.  Today the winery has a cellar door tasting room and a restaurant.

Greg Norman Estates Shiraz, Cabernet/Merlot & Chardonnay

Greg Norman Estates wine are produced from grapes grown on the Limestone Coast in South Australia. The Limestone Coast was once the ancient seabed of the Southern Ocean.  The mild climate is like Bordeaux in France and the area encompasses the regions of Coonawarra, Padthaway and Wrattonbully.   

Hardys Shiraz Sparkling

Thomas Hardy arrived in South Australia from England in the 1800's.   He worked at Reynella Farms and then bought his own land and formed Hardy and Sons.   He continued to purchase vineyards and expanded into Western Australia.  His company became Constellation Wines Australia which is the world's largest wine-making firm.

Heartland Stickleback Red

Heartland Wines was created by a small group of leading South Australian wine  identities who are all good friends and share a passion for making great wine.  All Heartland wines are made with fruit from mature vineyards in the Limestone Coast and Langhorne  Creek in South Australia. There are three ranges under the Heartland Wines label, Heartland Stickleback, Heartland Coast & Creek and the flagship Directors' Cut Shiraz.

Jacob's Creek Merlot, Cabernet, Cabernet Reserve, Chardonnay, Chardonnay Reserve, Shiraz, Shiraz Reserve Riesling

Jacob's Creek is located in the Barossa Valley, in South Australia.   They have a very impressive Visitor Centre and restaurant.

Leasingham Shiraz Magnus

Leasingham began in the Clare Valley, South Australia, in 1893.

Lindemans Bin 45 Cabernet, Bin 50 Shiraz, Bin 65 Chardonnay, Bin 40 Merlot, Bin 85 Pinot Grigio

Lindemans has two locations in Australia.   In the Hunter Valley which is 2 hours outside of Sydney, they have their Ben Aun cellar door, which was bought in 1912.  In Victoria near the Murray River they have their Karadoc Cellar Door. 

Little Penguin Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Grigio, Chardonnay, Shiraz

Little Penguin Wines is located in South Eastern Australia and bill themselves as having "fun,approachable wines".  They also have a great website - check it out by clicking on the link to the left.

McWilliam's Hanwood Estates Chardonnay

McWilliam Wines was founded in 1877 and is one of Australia's oldest and most respected family-owned wineries.   The company has vineyards in Riverina and Coonawarra in South Australia; Hunter Valley and Hilltops in New South Wales, and Yarra Valley in Victoria.

Mak Shiraz

Mak was founded in 1999 and their wines are from grapes from Adelaide Hills & the Clare Valley outside of Adeliade, South Australia, and Coonawarra, Victoria.

Mitolo Shiraz Jester

Mitolo Wines is a family-owned business founded in 1999 by Frank Mitolo.  The grapes for their wines come from McLaren Vale and from Greenock in the Barossa Valley.

Penfolds Chardonnay, Shiraz-Mour Bin 2, Chardonnay Rawsons, Shiraz-Cabernet Rawsons, Shiraz Thomas Hyland, Cabernet Thomas Hyland, Cabernet Rawsons

Penfolds was established in 1812 and you can visit them at Magill in Adelaide, South Australia, or at Nuriootpa  in the heart of the Barossa Valley.

Pillar Box White Table Wine, Red Table Wine

Pillar Box is a small winery in South Australia which is represented by Quintessential Wines, a wine-exporting and marketing company based in the Napa Valley.

Razor's Edge Shiraz/Gren, Shiraz, Chardonnay

Razor's Edge was launched in 2004 in McLaren Vale in South Australia.

Rosemount Chardonnay, Cabernet, Merlot, Shiraz, Traminer Riesling,

Rosemount Estate winery is located in McLaren Vale in South Australia, one hour from Adelaide.  

Stonehaven Shiraz & Chardonnay

Stonehaven was founded in 1998 and is located 6 km south of Padthaway, the gateway to the Limestone Coast.  Stonehaven takes its name from one of its vineyards, which originally formed part of the pioneering Hynam Station, established by one of the first settlers, Adam Smith, in 1846.

Tatachilla Cabernet

Tatachilla was established in 1903 and is located in McLaren Vale which is south of Adelaide, South Australia.

Tintara Shiraz

Tintara was founded in 1862 & remains a testament to quality winemaking, combining  age-old methods with new-age technology. The first vines were planted by Dr  Alexander Kelly, and in 1863 the first Tintara winery was established at "Upper  Tintara". Built against the rolling hills that foot the Mount Lofty Ranges, its  ingenious sloping design allowed the labor intensive work to be achieved with  the assistance of gravity, which also meant gentler handling of the juice. In 1878, the Tintara winery and its gravity flow techniques moved to the Old  Mortlock Flour Mill in the heart of McLaren Vale, where it remains today. In  fact, to this day they use the very same rare basket presses and original slate open fermenting tanks as used in the 19th century. Tintara is a rarity in every  sense. |

Two Up Shiraz

2 Up is created by Kevin and Helen O'Brien and is named for the popular Australian game, 2 Up.   Their wines are from vineyards in the McLaren Vale and Fleurieu Peninsula in South Australia.

Water Wheel Bendigo Shiraz

Water Wheel Vineyards is owned by the Cumming family who  have farmed in the Bendigo region, northwest of Melbourne, Victoria, for fifty years. Ron and Peter Cumming have a  strong background in horticulture and place a strong emphasis on vineyard management.  At the winery the emphasis is on producing high quality, fruit- driven wines with strong varietal definition and length on the  palate.  The original Water Wheel Vineyard was planted in 1970.  Now they have three vineyards. 

Wolf Blass Chardonnay, Cabernet Yellow Label, Riesling Yellow Label

Wolf Blass is located in the Barossa Valley, South Australia, 1 hour north of Adelaide. You can visit their Visitor Centre and experience their award-winning wines.  

Wynns Shiraz

Wynn  Coonawara Estate was founded by Scottish pioneer John Riddoch. He planted the vineyards in 1891 and completed the estate's three-gabled winery  in 1896.  In 1951 wine merchants Samuel and David Wynn bought Riddoch's original vineyards and winery and renamed the property Wynns Coonawarra Estate.

Yalumba Y Series Shiraz Viognier, Y Series Voignier, Chardonnay Wild Fermentation, Shiraz-Viognier Barossa. Red-table hand-picked.

Yalumba is located in the Barossa Valley, South Australia and is Australia's oldest family-owned winery.  The original stone buildings date back to 1849 and are surrounded by beautiful gardens.  

Yangarra Shiraz Estate

Yangarra is an aboriginal word which means "from the earth".  Yangarra is a single-vineyard 250 acre estate in Blewitt Springs subregion of McLaren Vale in South Australia.  

Yellow Tail Chardonnay, Shiraz, Cabernet Reserve, Merlot Reserve

Yellow Tail started in 1820 when the first Casellas, planted some vines in the Italian countryside.  In 1957, Flippo and Maria Casella moved to South Eastern Australia.  Flippo began selling grapes to local wineries and in 1969 they began their winery and told almost a third of their grapes are grown right in their family vineyards, 540 acres in the Riverina region of Austarlia.   In 1994, they built a new winery.  Today the winery is run by Flippo's three sons, John, Joe and Marcello and their grandchildren are also in the business.   The name Yellow Tail came from the yellow-footed rock wallaby, a smaller cousin to the kangaroo.
