Flinders Ranges National Park is located 285 miles north of Adelaide. It is an ancient land of rugged, jagged mountain ranges, vast desert
plains, rich cultural heritage, spectacular gorges, abandoned stone cottages, sheltered creeks lined with river red gums, small towns with names like Hawker, Parachilna, Laura and Quorn, abundant wildlife and
seasonal wildflowers. It is also home to Wilpena Pound and Arkaroola Wilderness Sanctuary and the world-famous Prairie Hotel.
