Monday, January 23: Our favorite restaurant on Moorea is Linareva also known as Le Bateau. We went there for dinner and
were greeted by the friendly Solange and Louise. Louise entertained us with a Tahitian dance. It was a fun evening for all of us.
We were greeted by Solange who showed us how she makes the garland of flowers that she wears every evening.
Le Bateau has 8 tables and is the original ferry that sailed between Papeete and Moorea. That evening they had an
arts and crafts sale from one of the local schools.
The evening's selections are written on blackboards.
Right: One of the wonderful meals at Linareva.
Louise enchanted all of us with her Tahitian dance which ended with her dancing on one of the tables! We felt we were watching Dorothy
Lamour in one of her South Seas movies.
