To truly experience Tahiti, you need to get outside of Papeete either by renting a car or by taking a Circle Island Tour of the island.   Below are some of the views you will see when you go around the island.  Instead of having addresses, Tahiti has PK markers, which are alongside the road and you locate destinations by their PK marker.
