Prince Edward Island is Canada's smallest province and one of its loveliest. It has gently rolling hills, scenic beaches and red sandstone cliffs in the south.
Most of the countryside is farmland and it is known for its red soil. You can get to Prince Edward Island by air, by ferry from Nova Scotia or by driving over the Confederation Bridge
from New Brunswick. The island was made famous by Lucy Maud Montgomery whose books about Anne of Green Gables were set on Prince Edward Island.
