The InterContinental has a Turtle Care Center in one of their lagoons. The center was established in February 2004 and provides daily care
for injured turtles under the supervision of a certified veterinarian. Their weight and growth are strictly monitored until they are healthy enough to return to the sea. When they return to the
ocean they are tagged so they can continue to be monitored.
