Suva
is the largest city in Fiji (168,000 people) and is the cultural, commercial, educational and governmental center of the South Pacific Islands. It is the home to the University of South Pacific, the Forum Secretariat and many overseas embassies and is a major port and the capital of the Fiji Islands. It has high-rise buildings, modern technology yet continues to preserve the traditions and pace of Fijian life. Suva is located on the east coast of Fiji and is 2 hours, 45 minutes from Nadi. Pacific Harbour is a 45-minute drive to Suva.
