Viti Levu is the largest island in the Fiji Islands. It has two main cities - Nadi (pronounced Nan-dee) on the west coast and Suva
on the east coast. Nadi is where the international airport is located and is where most people fly into. Close to Nadi there is Denarau Island where the Sheraton resorts are located. Nadi and Denarau are also considered the gateway to the Mamanucas and the Yasawa Islands and the islands to the North and the South. Suva is the capital.of the Fiji Islands.
There is a main road which circles the island. The road between Nadi and Suva is called the Queen's road and goes through Sigatoka and Pacific Harbor and along the area called the Coral Coast which is noted for its resorts. The road to the north is called the King's road and goes through Lautoka (a sugar cane town).
