A fun Tahitian experience is to go into Papeete and eat at the roulottes on the dock. The roulottes are food vans which appear every evening
along the waterfront parking lot, at the north end of Boulevard Pomare. This is where the Tahitians eat and the vendors serve some of the best inexpensive food in town. You can feast on grilled
chicken, seafood and meat, Chinese food, crepes, ice creams and pizza.
