Monday, January 31st: After the Tifaifai lecture, we went into Papeete. We shopped at the Marche (Papeete's municipal market),
in black pearl and fabric stores and did a tour of Robert Wan's Black Pearl Museum. Everyone agreed that Papeete was a very interesting seaport town.
Downtown Papeete is a bustling place full of black pearl shops, fabric stores, a wonderful municipal market wih fruits, vegetables,
meats, fish and handicrafts and all sorts of other shops.

There are several fabric stores that Didi likes in Papeete. Venus and Hawaii are just a couple of her favorite places.
