REYKJAVIK, THE CAPITOL OF ICELAND
Reykjavik is in southwest Iceland.  When you fly to Iceland, you fly into Keflavik International Airport (KEF) which is 45 minutes from downtown Reykjavik.  The city has colorful and architectural diverse buildings including the Hallgrimskirkja Lutheran church and the Harpa Concert Hall and some wonderful museums..    You can also have a lot of fun in their souvenir shops donning fur hats, puffin masks and playing out your Viking fantasies.!

Reykjavik is famous for its Iceland hotdog stand, Baejarins Betzu.   It has been around for 37 years. 

Shopping is great  in Reykavik!  Things made out of fur and reindeer and beautiful Icelandic  sweaters are in all the shops.   Also popular are puffins and Viking souvenirs.
